Who is Vicky?
Hi! I’m Vicky!
I was born in São Paulo and lived in Brazil until 2021 when my family decided to move to Miami Beach, United States. I have been studying English since age five through bilingual schools and self-taught methods.
I am currently in my senior year of High School.
As I prepare to enroll in college in 2024, I aim to significantly impact my community while showing Brazilians that it is possible to study abroad and pursue academic success and personal growth.
A little about my hobbies:
I have created a blog that provides weekly tips for teenagers who dream of studying abroad. I am also vice president of the Brazilian Club at my high school, organizing events and activities to integrate American students into Brazilian culture. Regarding sports, I am part of my school’s water polo team and coordinate a volunteer project in Miami Beach called Practice with Purpose, which aims to promote inclusion using sports and leadership to empower people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
